On January 8-10, 2015, I joined with hundreds of scholars who had converged to Singapore to attend to International Studies Assocation (ISA) Global South Caucus conference (http://www.isanet.org/Conferences/GSCISSingapore2015.aspx). The conference was held at the Singapore Management University.

Almost 100 people gathered to listen to my conference on indigenous studies in Québec on Thursday November 27, 2014. This conference was organized by the Cordillera Studies Center and the College of Social Sciences at the University of the Philippines Baguio.
During that conference I presented some historical, social, cultural and political background on indigenous peoples. I also shared my thoughts of the current state of indigenous studies – education and research programs – in the province of Québec.
